Dr. Kristin Miller

Dr. Kristin Miller

Dr. Kristin Miller is from Kansas City, Missouri and received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in Business Management and Asian Studies in 2001. She went on to fulfill her ROTC scholarship by serving on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Army for four years. She eventually got around to her true calling of dentistry and attended the University of Missouri — Kansas City, School of Dentistry, graduating in 2011.

What initially piqued Dr. Miller’s interest in the dental profession was the ability to serve and educate populations that lack adequate dental care. She loves having the opportunity to focus on children’s dental health. She believes good oral health begins at a very young age and wants to make the dental office a welcoming place their entire life. Dr. Miller looks forward to providing your child with a top-notch dental experience.

Dr. Miller is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is past chair of the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS) New Dentist Committee (2012 -2021), and Past President (2017) of the NCDS 1st District Dental Society. In 2018, she was a recipient of the NCDS Outstanding Young Dentist Award. This award is given to a member of the dental society who, at a young age, demonstrated uncommon leadership abilities and dedication to serving the profession of dentistry. Dr. Miller participates in numerous dental outreach opportunities both in her local community and across North Carolina such as the NCDS Missions of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, the Sandy Ridge Baptist Dental Bus (Hickory, NC), Team Smile, and the Foothills Veteran’s Standdowns. She enjoys spending time away from work with her husband and two young daughters.
